DFI Publication Scholarships are only available to DFI Research Fellows (read more about how to become a DFI Research Fellow here.) A DFI Research Fellow can each year apply for a single Publication Scholarship (Level 1 or Level 2).

Publication Scholarships

The next application deadline is: June 30, 2025.

We only accept applications for papers that have been accepted for publication or published in the current year or the year before (i.e. 2024 and 2025).

It is a requirement that the following acknowledgement statement “Support from the Danish Finance Institute (DFI) is gratefully acknowledged” is stated in the article. If not, the publication is not eligible for Publication Scholarship.

All applications received after July 1 will be reviewed the following year.

Please note: The first payment can only be made when the article is in print or it appears as forthcoming on the journal’s website.
