Danish Finance Institute is proud to present the first winner of the DFI Dissemination Award 2021, Jesper Rangvid. The award was presented by Niels Arne Dam at the DFI Annual Conference 2021 held on October 7, 2021 at CBS.
The purpose of the award is to acknowledge a researcher, who has significantly contributed to the public debate and excelled in disseminating research in finance to a wider audience.
Jesper Rangvid holds a PhD from CBS and has served as a Professor since 2007. He rose to prominence in the Danish financial and political debate when he chaired the commission responsible for analysing and identifying the causes of the Danish financial crisis and is now widely recognized as one of the leading experts on this topic.
Jesper Rangvid has maintained a very active presence in the public debate in recent years. He has appeared in more than 2,000 news quotes from 2018 to 2020 and published the book “From Main Street to Wall Street” addressing the interaction between financial markets and the real economy. Jesper regularly posts about financial topics in his newly launched blog aimed at targeting a wider audience and continues to publish new research in leading international journals.
