New DFI Director: Carsten Sørensen, Copenhagen Business School

The Danish Finance Institute changes Director as Carsten Sørensen, Head of Department at Copenhagen Business School, takes over the position as of April 11, 2019

Professor Carsten Sørensen, Copenhagen Business School

The Danish Finance Institute’s Director Morten Sørensen, Professor at Copenhagen Business School, has decided to step down as DFI Director, and Carsten Sørensen, Head of Department at Copenhagen Business School, has now taken over the position as Director as of April 11, 2019.

The Danish Finance Institute would like to thank Morten Sørensen for his efforts as DFI director in the previous period and at the same time welcomes Carsten Sørensen as the new Director to join Co-director Niels Haldrup in the DFI management team.

“I am looking forward to the collaboration with Finance Denmark and the DFI board, and to be a central figure in the continued work of building a world-class Danish research environment in finance across the participating universities,” says Carsten Sørensen, DFI Director.
